IMPORTANT:
If you are using a Sachs kit to replace an Eaton clutch (highly likely) you will also need to supply release fork 39DSA0031!
Please confirm with customer.
These are a diaphragm type clutch, not lever type like the Eaton product.
The main advantage for this is it reduces the load required to push the clutch pedal down and gives the driver a better feel for the clutch.
Also with the new design it also improves the operation of the Auto adjust feature (there is a well known earlier type of auto adjust that known to be useless and most customers will know of them. This new Sachs kit is a completly different set up!). The Twin Extend feature is designed to reduce gearbox rattle caused by the late model semi automatic shift gearboxes, this is done by increased dampening springs in the plates.
